What do we offer?
Advice and troubleshooting
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we understand that behind every beautiful
fireplace is a complex system of design, safety, and performance. From flue requirements
and ventilation to heat output and appliance compatibility, every detail needs to be carefully
considered to ensure your fireplace not only looks exceptional, but also operates safely and
efficiently.
That’s why our consultation process is such an important part of what we do. We take the time
to understand your ideas, your space, and how you want to use your fireplace, offering clear,
practical advice from the very beginning. This allows us to identify any potential challenges early on and provide the right solutions before installation begins.
Whether you’re working with an existing chimney breast, planning a new feature fireplace,
or upgrading an older system, we’re here to guide you through the options and resolve any
technical considerations along the way. From structural limitations to ventilation and heat management, we know what to expect — and how to get it right.
Bespoke design ideas
Whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or simply have a rough idea in mind, we’ll
guide you through every stage of the design journey to create a fireplace that feels completely
unique to your home. From the initial ideas and inspiration through to the choice of materials and finishes, our team will work closely with you to bring your vision to life.
We believe the smallest details can make the biggest difference, which is why we encourage
every client to incorporate their own personal touches and style preferences throughout
the design. Whether you prefer a timeless and traditional look or something sleek and contemporary, we’ll help create the perfect feature for your space — one that not only looks
beautiful, but becomes the heart of your home.
Fitting and installing via gas safe installation
All of our engineers are fully qualified and registered with both the Gas Safe Register
and HETAS, giving you complete confidence that your installation is carried out safely,
professionally, and to the highest industry standards.
This means every project is handled with expert care from start to finish, ensuring all work complies with current safety regulations and best practice guidelines. From initial preparation through to final commissioning, we take every step to make sure your fireplace is installed
smoothly, efficiently, and with meticulous attention to detail.
Servicing via Hetas and Gas Safe
To ensure your fireplace continues to operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, it’s essential that it is professionally serviced on a regular basis, we suggest an annual servicing which will be
carried out by one of our Gas Safe and Hetas engineers.
Gas Fires
Over time, gas fires can accumulate dust, debris, and general wear within their internal components. During an annual service, the engineer will carry out a full visual inspection of the appliance, hearth, and mantel to ensure there are no signs of damage or deterioration. They will also check the appliance and pipe work for any gas leaks and confirm that the fire is operating safely and correctly.
As part of the service, the glass front will be removed and thoroughly cleaned to eliminate
condensation marks, dust build-up, and debris from both the glass and the interior of the
appliance, helping to maintain both efficiency and appearance.
Wood Burning and Solid Fuel Fires
Regular servicing of your wood-burning stove is essential for keeping your appliance safe, efficient, and performing at its best. A professional service focuses primarily on the chimney and flue system and includes a thorough chimney sweep to remove soot, tar, ash, and any blockages that may restrict airflow or create potential fire hazards.

A professional service focuses primarily on the chimney and flue system and includes a thorough chimney sweep to remove soot, tar, ash, and any blockages that may restrict airflow or create potential fire hazards.
During the service, our engineer will carefully inspect the stove, chimney, and flue for signs of
wear or damage, including cracks, corrosion, faulty seals, and loose connections. Our engineer also check that vents, baffles, and airways are clean and functioning correctly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
A properly maintained stove not only burns fuel more effectively, but also helps reduce smoke
issues, improve heat output, and lower the risk of chimney fires or carbon monoxide leaks. If
any concerns are identified during the inspection, we can advise on the best course of action before they develop into more serious problems.
Whether your stove is used occasionally or as a primary heat source, routine servicing helps extend the lifespan of the appliance and keeps your home safe and compliant. We recommend servicing and chimney sweeping at least once a year, or more frequently for heavily used appliances.
